Body of car’s driver swept away by torrents in Lahj

LAHJ, April 28 (YPA) – Residents found on Thursday the body of a car driver from Taiz, who was swept away by torrents in Wadi Maabak in al-Maqatira district of Lahj governorate.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the torrents washed away the citizen’s car type “bus” in the line connecting Taiz and Aden, and it was completely destroyed and the driver named Abdul-Qaher Ghalib died.

 The eyewitnesses explained that the driver, Abdul Qaher, belongs to one of al-Maafer area in Taiz governorate, and his body was transferred to Bani Salah mosque in Ma’abq area of al-Maqatira district.
