Senior security official survives assassination attempt in Taiz

TAIZ, March 15 (YPA) – A senior security official, loyal to the Saudi-led coalition forces, survived on Wednesday an assassination attempt in Taiz city.

Local sources in Taiz reported that Taha Al-Kamali, a deputy director of the Revolution Police Department in the Cairo district, was attacked by unknown gunmen.

The sources indicated that Al-Kamali was wounded by several gunshots in his body and taken for treatment in a hospital in the city.

In the context, medical sources in Taiz described Al-Kamali’s condition as “serious.”
