ADEN, March 11 (YPA) – A merchant from Taiz has been killed on Friday by forces affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) during a break-in to his shop in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden.
This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on testimonies of local source.
According to local sources, soldiers affiliated with the STC leader Musleh al-Dharhani stormed the shop of merchant Ahmed Hamoud al-Surmi –and shot and killed him in cold blood.
The city of Aden, which is under the control of the STC, has been witnessing security chaos due to the emergence of many influential people in the city.
