In video: UAE-backed militias kill merchant in Aden

ADEN, March 09 (YPA) – The UAE-affiliated militias in Aden province, southern Yemen, killed on Thursday a merchant and looted his shop.

Activists circulated on social media a video clip showing gunmen in military uniform, believed to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia attacked and killed the merchant, Ahmed Al-Sarmi, inside his shop in Sheikh Othman district.

In the context, Mudarm Abu Siraj, a head of the Political Bureau of the Revolutionary Movement Council, confirmed on Facebook platform that the STC lost control of its militias, indicating that these militias with multiple names spread corruption and killed merchants in Aden.
