SANAA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has warned sea goers and fishermen in the south of the Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of sea turbulence and high waves.
In weather forecast, the center expected on Saturday an awakening atmosphere that tends to be cold on the mountain heights in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda.
It pointed to the formation of cumulus rain clouds accompanied by thunderstorms at times over parts of the western highlands.
The forecast stated that the coastal areas may be clear to partly cloudy, with the possibility of moraine rain clouds forming on parts of the southern and southeastern coasts, while the active winds, reaching a maximum speed of 25 knots over the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
The desert areas will be clear weather, with moderate winds, reaching a maximum speed of 18 knots, stirring dust and sand, while the weather in the Socotra archipelago will be generally partly cloudy, with the possibility of rain clouds forming.
