Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi reveals coalition’s reasons to assassinate President Al-Sammad

SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) -Leader of Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, confirmed on Thursday that the assassination of the martyred President, Saleh al-Sammad, by the Saudi-led coalition was because of his personality in loyalty and patriotism and his ability to unite the home front.

This came in a speech he made on the occasion of the manual anniversary of the martyred President Saleh al-Sammad.

He affirmed that the coalition sought with all its power to target al-Sammad due to his active role, which represented a major contribution to confronting the aggression and supporting the just cause of Yemeni people, adding that the coalition noted in al-Sammad had his superior ability to unify the internal ranks within the framework of concern for the priority of confronting the aggression.

“The martyr Al-Sammad was distinguished by his loyalty and steadfastness in the difficult stage and the great challenges, and he was more present and exerted his efforts in the important priorities, the first of which was confronting the aggression,” Sayyed al-Houthi said.

He went on to say: “The coalition was noticing in Al-Sammad his endeavor to activate the official capabilities in confronting the war and serving the people.”

Al-Houthi pointed out that the President Saleh Al-Sammad started feeling that he was in a position of the practical responsibility to serve his people and not in a position to exploits for personal gain.

“Some of those who left the position of the presidency they had left bearing great burdens because of their exploitation of their position at the expense of the suffering and oppression of their people and neglecting their issues,” added Sayyed al-Houthi, explaining that those who used the presidency to plunder the wealth of their people were exposed in their betrayal after they presenting themselves as national symbols in their speaking via the media outlets about the homeland and patriotism.

Regarding the assassination of the martyr President Saleh Al-Sammed, he indicated that those who worked to stir up strife have become main fronts against their people and openly enlisted with the aggression coalition.

Sayyed al-Houthi said: “In the largest stages of escalation of the aggression to control Hodeida, Al-Sammad was present to mobilize the people and activate all official and popular capabilities and push them to confront the aggression.”
