Deputy FM directs message to UAE regarding Abd Al-Kuri Island
SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, directed on Thursday a message to the UAE regarding the Abd al-Kuri island of the Yemeni Socotra archipelago.
“Abu Dhabi should not exhaust itself too much by working to establish its presence on the island of Abdul Kuri, or on any Yemeni island,” said Al-Ezzi in a tweet on Twitter.
He stressed that “leaving Yemen and its islands is always the best option, and history says that whoever insists on antagonizing the Yemeni people gets tired and collapses quickly.”
