Civilian killed, 2 injured by projectile left over by coalition in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Feb. 14 (YPA) – A civilian was killed and two others were injured on Tuesday due to the explosion of a projectile from the war remnants of the Saudi-led coalition in Hodeida province, western Yemen.

Local sources said that the projectile exploded in the Al-Durayhimi district, killing the citizen “Ali Rajeh Ali Majmali,” 18 years old, and injuring each of the other two citizens, “Tariq Ali Muhammad Ibrahim Hajj,”  16, and “Mazen Muhammad Ali Somal,”  11.

This occurred 24 hours after a child was injured and her leg and hand were amputated by the blast of a projectile from the remnants of the coalition weapons in Al-Hali district in the province.

Yemen is witnessing a significant increase in the number of victims of the war remnants left by the coalition forces, due to the coalition countries’ prevention of the entry of detecting devices and the United Nations’ failure to implement its obligations in this regard.
