Sanaa forces take control of ‘Al-Mawasit’ district in Taiz, reach residence of Rashad Al-Alimi

TAIZ, Oct. 05 (YPA) – Sanaa forces secured the Al-Mawasit district in Taiz Governorate on Monday, expelling armed groups backed by Saudi Arabia and gaining control of a residence belonging to Rashad Al-Alimi, head of the Saudi-backed “Presidential Leadership Council”.

According to a military source from the Sanaa forces, the operation resulted in the complete removal of the armed groups from the area, with the opposing forces sustaining heavy losses.
