FM extends condolences to Syrian, Turkish counterparts for victims of earthquake

SANAA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf, on Monday sent cables of condolences to the Foreign Ministers of the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, and the Republic of Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu, for the victims of the earthquake that struck northern Syria and southern Turkey at dawn today, claiming hundreds of lives.

In the cables, Sharaf expressed the great condolences of the Yemeni people and the National Salvation Government to the people and governments of Syria and Turkey for this incident, asking Allah to have mercy on the victims and grant the wounded a speedy recovery.
