Fiery confrontations between Saudi Arabia, STC

ADEN, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Saudi activists described the leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) as “beggars at kings’ roundtables.”

The Saudi activist, Saad bin Mohammed al-Omari, stressed that the STC is a suspicious council, considering it against the “Arab project.”

Al-Omari explained that the STC is a coup militia, in crisis that threatens the coalition and what he called “legitimacy” through its official media, trying to blackmail Saudi Arabia through its cheap obsolete tools.

It is worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia’s formation of “Dera Al-Watan forces” (Shield of the Homeland provoked the anger of the STC and its activists to launch a violent attack on Saudi Arabia with various profanity.

The confrontations between Saudi activists and the STC are part of the conflict between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi in the southern governorates.
