Recruit killed, 3 others injured due to new explosion in Abyan

ABYAN, Feb. 05 (YPA) – A recruit of UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias was killed on Sunday and three others injured due to a new explosion targeted their vehicle in Abyan province.

Sources said that an explosive device exploded in a crew belonging to eighth brigade in Omran Valley of Maodiya district, east of Abyan.

The sources confirmed that the explosion killed a soldier and injured three individuals, two of whom are in critical condition.
