Poet killed in Hadramout shooting

HADRAMOUT, Feb. 02 (YPA) – A poet was killed on Thursday in a shooting at in the Harida district of Wadi Hadramout, eastern Yemen.

Local sources in the province confirmed the killing of the poet, Khaled bin Muhana, loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, was targeted by unknown gunmen’s bullets.

The areas of Wadi and Desert Hadramout suffer from security chaos and continuous violations against citizens, due to the spread of terrorism and assassination crimes, and the conflict of the Saudi-led coalition’s factions.
