KABUL, Jan. 12 (YPA) – At least seven people were killed and ten more injured in an explosion near the building of the Afghan Foreign Ministry in Kabul on Tuesday, Afghan media reported.
A spokesman for the Kabul security department, Khalid Zadran said the blast caused casualties, noting that it occurred on Foreign Ministry Street.
Security forces arrived at the scene, he said, while photos from the site of the explosion on social media showed the bodies of a number of victims.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the blast.
It is noteworthy that the wave of bombings returned to Kabul again, as the Afghan Interior Ministry announced, earlier this month, an explosion in front of the military airport in the capital, Kabul, which led to a number of deaths and injuries.
