Saudi Arabia sends new military vehicles to Aden

ADEN, Jan. 03 (YPA) – New Saudi military vehicles arrived on Tuesday in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia funded by the Emirates.

Khaled Al-Shamiri, a head of the Center for Political Studies, who resides in the Emirates, confirmed that the Saudi arms shipment arrived in Aden, coming from Al-Wadiah border land port.

He said on Twitter the weapons were transferred to the headquarters of the so-called “National Shield Forces,” which was established by Saudi Arabia in early 2022, and supervised by UAE-funded Tariq Afash.

Al-Shamiri pointed out that these weapons came to complete what he called “the threads of the conspiracy,” and to arrange for future agendas and settlements, away from the aspirations of “the people of the south.”

The Saudi shipment to Aden came after the gunmen of Al-Sabiha tribes took control of the sites and points of the STC militia on the coastal road in Ras Al-Ara and Al-Mudharaba areas, west of Lahj, in support of Tariq Afash’s militia.
