SANAA, Jan. 03 (YPA) – The Saudi passports have imposed unfair penalties against Yemeni expatriates in the Kingdom.

The Saudi Passports Department said on “Twitter” on Sunday, that “the expatriate who works for his own account shall be subject to the following penalties, estimated to be at least 50,000 riyals in fines, and six months in prison, as well as to deportation.”

It also stated in a second statement that it had issued, through its administrative committees in the various regional passport departments, 14,042 administrative decisions during December 2022, against citizens and residents for violating the residence, work and border security regulations.
