MARIB, Dec. 29 (YPA) – A prominent leader loyal to Saudi-led coalition was killed in Marib governorate in drome strike, in light of the continued assassinations of many leaders opposing Islah Party’s policy in Marib.
Local sources explained that the leader Ahmed Yahya Ataq Lasoua, was killed by a drone strike, which hit his position west of the city of Marib.
He was known for his strong opposition to the Islah Party and the presence of al-Qaeda in the city of Marib.
Al-Qaeda organization has seized a truck carrying a number of drones and specific weapons on the main road in the city of Seiyun, the center of the Wadi and Hadramout desert districts, eastern Yemen.
The sources confirmed that al-Qaeda militants damaged the truck after clashing with the elements accompanying the truck, and they seized and drones, which were transported to the strongholds of the organization in Wadi Abaidah of Marib province.
