Islah mobilizes its militants in south of Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 26 (YPA) – New batches of Islah militants arrived on Sunday at the party’s camps in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.

Informed sources said that dozens of members of the Fourth Infantry Brigade, stationed in the Tur al-Baha area of Lahj governorate, arrived at the camp of the Taiz Axis forces loyal to Islah Party, in the city of Turbah, southwest of the governorate.

This coincided with the return of mutual military mobilizations between the Saudi-Emirati coalition factions in the southern countryside of Taiz.

The new reinforcements are the third of their kind in less than a month, as Islah forces brought hundreds of their members to their main stronghold in the city of Turbah.

Islah seeks to strengthen its military presence in the areas adjacent to the coastal districts of Taiz, in light of  wide movements of Tariq Affash’s factions to attack the party’s positions in the city of Turbah.
