STC militia assault farmers, loot their lands in Lahj

LAHJ, Dec. 13 (YPA) – UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militia stormed on Tuesday the farms of citizens in Al-Mallah district of Lahj province, southern Yemen.

Hawashb tribes said in a statement that the leadership of the Tribal Council of the sons of Hawashb followed up on the bloody riots carried out by terrorist elements and thugs outside the law and supported by external parties with the aim of provoking chaos, disturbing public peace and destabilizing security and stability and its attendant tragic repercussions and consequences.

The statement added: “We, in the leadership of the Tribal Council of the Sons of Hawashab in Mallah, condemn in the strongest terms those illegal terrorist acts and practices carried out by the so-called Imam Al-Salwi Al-Nubi and his court, which serve only the enemies of the south.

The statement described the storming of Nasser Al-Nubi, commander of the Security Belt forces, as a criminal aggression on citizens’ property, promising to punish the elements of Emirati faction, and holding Riyadh presidential council responsible for the ongoing crimes committed by their factions against them.
