TAIZ, May 18 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has pushed big military reinforcements on to Yemeni provinces of Lahj and Taiz.
Media outlets loyal to the coalition posted on Saturday pictures of the reinforcements that arrived at the borders of the two provinces, in an effort to tighten its grip on Bab al-Mandab and the areas overlooking.
The military assistances included crews and armored vehicles belonging to the Saudi-formed armed factions known as Dare al-Watan Forces, which arrived in the areas of Haifan and Aerim in Taiz on the Lahj border.
The reinforcements came after Saudi Arabia’s decision to deploy forces, which are supervised by the of the coalition’s Support Commander, Sultan Al-Bogami, several weeks ago.
According to observers, these reinforcements may be came to try to get prepared for a new front against Sanaa forces, while others said that they may be an expansion of a major aggression against the southwestern regions of Taiz, as part of the plan to control Bab al-Mandab Strait and Mocha city, which are under the control of the coalition.
