Young man died in coalition-run prison in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 13 (YPA) – A detainee has died under mysterious circumstances inside a prison run by the Saudi-led coalition forces  in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

According to Human rights sources said: “The detainee Raheem Wada’an nicknamed “Abu Fahd”, died under mysterious circumstances as a result of the torture he subjected to inside one of the coalition-run prisons in the city of Shibam.”

Sources added, that the detainee was handed over to his family on Monday a lifeless body, to be announced his buried on Tuesday in his hometown in the Shaqiya area.

The number of deaths of detainees in the UAE-run prisons in Abyan, Lahj and Aden increased to due to receiving various forms of torture.
