SANAA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology confirmed on Tuesday the continuation of cold weather in several provinces of Yemen.
In its expected bulletin, the center affirmed that a cold wave would hit the mountainous highlands of the province of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and Dhalea, Abyan, Lahj, Ibb, Jawf and Marib.
According to the center, the weather in the Socotra archipelago would be partly cloudy, with the possibility of light and sporadic rain and the maximum wind speed reaching 17 knots.
It alerted citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the late hours of the night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions to prevent severe cold weather.
