ADEN, Dec. 13 (YPA) – Moeen Abdul Malik, prime minister of pro-coalition government, took an escalatory step against leaders in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’ militia over their storming the building of the Ministry of Higher Education in the southern Yemeni city of Aden.
According to media sources, Moeen directed Aden security chief to arrest Abdul Nasser Al-Baawa, “Abu Hammam” and refer him to the prosecution in a new escalation that threatens to explode the situation in Aden.
The Riyadh-based Saba News Agency, reported that the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition condemned the attack on the Ministry of Higher Education.
It directed the concerned authorities to take legal action and transfer the aggressors to the judiciary.”
Pro-STC activists described the new escalation against “Abu Hammam” as a brazen stance covering up the scholarship scandal looted by the head of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, Moeen and all other officials.
They vowed to respond to the “insolence” by escalating against Moeen and his corrupt government.
