Taiwan says 4 Chinese warships, 8 aircraft detected around the island

WORLD, Nov. 27 (YPA)- Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said Sunday it tracked eight Chinese warplanes and four warships around the island

“Today, at 06:00 a.m., eight  aircraft and four ships were detected near Taiwan,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to the ministry, during the exercises, two J-10 jets and two H-6 strategic bombers entered Taiwan’s air defense identification zone in the southwestern region. The island’s military responded by sending air patrols, radio alerts and deploying anti-aircraft missile systems.

On November 7, Taiwan recorded the appearance of 63 PLA aircraft and four warships in the region.
