Fisheries Ministry condemns coalition’s kidnapping of 6 fishermen off Midi coast

SANAA, Nov. 24 (YPA) – The Ministry of Fisheries on Thursday condemned the abduction of a number of Yemeni fishermen by Saudi-led coalition forces in Bahys area of Midi district of Hajjah province.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Fisheries stated that the coalition forces abducted six fishermen on Wednesday afternoon, namely “Mohammed Ali Kalada, Ahmed Ali Kalada, Ibrahim Ali Musa, Khal Ibrahim, Mohammed Khal, Abdu Sharim Aati and Ali Kherbin Khal” while they were engaged in fishing activity in the Bahys area off Midi coast without any justification.

The statement held the United Nations and its organizations responsible for the results of their silence and persistent failure towards the practices of the aggression coalition forces and mercenaries, terrorist acts, and forced abductions against Yemeni fishermen.
