WORLD, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The Turkish authorities announced that 4 rocket projectiles, fired by Syrian Kurdish forces, landed in an agricultural area in the district of Karakamish in the province of Gaziantep, near the Syrian border.
Anadolu Agency, quoting Gaziantep Governor Davut Gul, reporting that the shells were fired from east of the Euphrates River.
” Mortar shells fired at Karkamis and Jarablus from the east of the Euphrates River by the elements of the terrorist organization did not cause any casualties, and Turkish security forces responded in kind,” Gaziantep’s Governor Davut Gul said.
This coincides with the “ Operation Claw-Sword” launched by Turkey against YPG in northern Syria and the PKK in Iraq.
Earlier, the Turkish Defense Ministry said its forces destroyed 89 sites and the neutralized a large number of militants in northern Syria and Iraq.
