Saudi preacher shaves his beard after ban on women’s driving lifted

SANAA, June 27 (YPA ) – A number of activists on social media on Wednesday circulated a video for a Saudi preacher called Amr Bin Talal Abu Qusay, while he was shaving his beard after lifting women driving ban in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The Saudi preacher wrote on his official account “here I shaved my bread and mustache, and no one knows me anymore”.

The move came to fulfill his promise; he had kept in the period of women driving’s ban was still into effect in Saudi Arabia.

Wave of comments rained over this video, some said that our country needs stability and calm, especially in the context of serious geopolitical conditions surrounding the region as well as to the demotic changes bought by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salamn.
