Yemeni football team’s coach arrives in Cairo

CAIRO, Nov. 16 (YPA) – The Czech coach, Miroslav Soukup, arrived on Tuesday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in preparation for signing a contract to train the first Yemeni national football team.

According to the Yemeni Football Association website, the Soukup with his assistant staff, was received by Hossam Al-Sanabani, deputy head of the Emergency Committee of the Yemeni Football Association.

The coach is scheduled to sign a one-year contract, during which he will prepare the Yemeni national team for the 25th Gulf Tournament, to be held next January in the Republic of Iraq.

According to a special source, the Yemeni national team, which is currently in an internal camp in Aden, will hold its external preparatory camp, starting next week, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
