SANAA, Oct. 26(YPA) – The Yemeni petroleum company (YPC) confirmed on Tuesday that the Saudi-led Coalition Forces detained a new diesel ship and prevented it from reaching Hodeida port.
YPC spokesman Issam al-Mutawakil said the US-backed Saudi-led aggression detained the diesel ship “Sands” although it has been inspected in Djibouti.
The detention of the ship by the aggression coalition comes in conjunction with releasing 4 fuel vessels after being detained for varying periods reaching 17 days for some vessels which caused a delay fine, al-Mutawakil said.
The YPC’s spokesman considered the United Nations an accomplice to the aggression coalition in the piracy on the fuel ships as the UN directs the ships to the detention point.
