Military experts: Sanaa’s warning strike aims to stop looting Yemeni wealth

SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – Military experts on Saturday commented on the warning strike carried out by the Sanaa forces on Friday to stop the looting of Yemeni wealth.

Yemeni military expert, Brigadier General Abed al-Thawr, revealed that the ship that was targeted by Sanaa forces at Al-Dhaba port had previously been warned through official channels.

Brig. Gen. al-Thawr confirmed in a press statement that the ship, despite its warning, entered with local guarantees from the authorities loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Hadramout province, so it was necessary to deal with it in another way and a warning strike was given to it.

“During eight years, Sanaa has proven to the world that it can protect Yemeni lands, and it is time to prevent the coalition countries from plundering Yemen’s oil wealth and tampering with the capabilities of the Yemeni people,” Brig. Gen. al-Thawr said.

In turn, the writer and security expert residing in Germany, Brigadier General Abdulhamid Al-Ghafri, affirmed that the oil wealth that is being looted is the right of 30 million Yemenis who have been deprived of salaries, services and oil derivatives, and it their right to benefit from their wealth and capabilities.

Brig. Gen. Al-Ghafri pointed out that what the Yemeni armed forces have done are just warning messages to the oil companies that plunder Yemeni wealth and to the countries behind them.

He also stressed that those companies and countries should take Sanaa’s warnings seriously and leave all Yemeni ports, islands and lands.
