Sanaa threatens oil companies that plunder Yemen’s wealth with painful strikes
SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – The Sanaa government’s spokesman and Minister of Information, Dhaif Allah Al-Shami, on Saturday said that “the warning messages would be followed by painful blows if the oil companies responded to the American and European pressures.”
Al-Shami added, in an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV: “If the ship returns, the response will not be limited to warning strikes, but may develop into direct strikes that paralyze the ships’ movement.”
He confirmed that the messages of Sanaa government had reached the concerned companies, and that the countries that own these ships transporting Yemeni oil took the warnings seriously.
“If the truce does not include opening the ports of Yemen and Sanaa airport and paying the salaries of the employees, the delays will not bear fruit,” he said.
The Sana’a government spokesman stressed that “extending the truce would only take place under Yemen’s conditions,” explaining that there is great communication with Yemen at the European, American and Arab levels, including Saudi Arabia.
Al-Shami also affirmed that “Sanaa will not allow Yemeni gas to go to Europe or any other country while the Yemeni people are suffering from a gas crisis.”
