Russia reveals two types of “suicide drones” it has used in Ukraine

WORLD, Oct. 20 (YPA) – A source in the Russian military has revealed that the Russian armed forces have so far used several hundred homemade loitering ammunition and drones in Ukraine.

The source said: “Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian military has already used several hundred homemade loitering ammunition. We’re talking about “Kamikaze drones “CUBE” and “Lancet”.

“Russian suicide aircraft show high efficiency in destroying the anti-aircraft missile systems of Ukrainian forces, as well as various types of radar stations, including anti-battery combat stations and radars of the Ukrainian air defense system,” he added.

In addition, loitering ammunition is highly effective in destroying the enemy’s manpower both outdoors and in shelters.

He explained that among the guaranteed efficiency of these aircraft is the low level of their physical spectrum – they can hardly be seen by radar and thermal devices, and in the range of the visual or acoustic spectrum. Ukrainian militants can only hear the sound of the march flying at the last minute, after it is too late.
