Armed gang attacks secondary School in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 06 (YPA) – An armed gang affiliated with the Islah Party launched an armed attack targeting one of secondary Schools in the center of Taiz city, southwest of Yemen.

Director of the school, “Samir Al-Aqel,” said on Facebook that the gang attacked Bakathir school in Al-Rawda neighborhood and shot my car because of the school administration’s refusal to register one of the gang members.

Al-Aqel called on the government backed by the Saudi-led coalition take strict actions against the entire security leadership.

This came hours after an explosion device planted in the car of the tribal sheikh Munther Al-Najashi, near the Deluxe Hotel in the center of Taiz, resulting in civilian casualties.

Taiz city is witnessing a state of unprecedented insecurity, killings and assassinations of military and security leaders and citizens, amid the spread of armed gangs and the growing conflict between armed groups affiliated with the coalition forces.
