Defense minster, head of military staff send message of congratulations on 60th anniversary of the September 26 revolution.

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – Defense Minister, Major General Mohammad Al-Atifi, and Chief of the General Staff, Major General Mohammad al-Ghumari, sent message of congratulations to the President Mahdi al-Mashat and to members of the Supreme Political Council on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the September 26 revolution.

They also stressed Armed Forces’ standing by the leadership in its wise and correct steps, that always emphasizes that our country’s sovereignty and independence are red lines that cannot be compromised.

  The letter indicated that the September 26 revolution constituted an important historical turning point in the life of the homeland and the nation, and represented, in essence, a starting point for all the Yemeni revolutions and the birth of a new era to build the present and future of the country.

 They also confirmed that Yemen had thwarted all the enemies’ plans, and proved that it will remain a cemetery for all the occupiers, warning that “We have many, many surprises, and what they have received is only the tip of the iceberg, and if they return, we will return.”

 They also confirmed that members of the Armed Forces, in all frontlines, are at the highest levels of readiness and high morale until Yemeni people can achieve what they aspire to.
