WORLD, Sept. 05 (YPA) – Two suspects were involved in a series of stabbings in two communities in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan left 10 people dead and 15 wounded, said a police official in Saskatchewan.
The stabbings took place in multiple locations on the James Smith Cree Nation and in the village of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon, police said.
The two suspects in the attacks were Damien Sanderson and Miles Sanderson. They travel in a black Nissan Rogue, Rhonda Blackmore, the assistant commissioner of the RCMP Saskatchewan said during a press conference.
Blackmore said 10 people had been found dead in 13 counties. Fifteen people were taken to hospital.
He asked the public to report suspicious persons and emergencies to the 911 service and not to publish information about the whereabouts of the police.
