Southern military commander escalates disputes with UAE leadership

SHABWAH, June 24 (YPA) – A southern military commander to so-called Shabwa elite forces, Khalid al-Azami has escalated disputes against UAE occupation forces’ leadership in Shabwah province, an official told Yemen Press Agency.

The move came after the UAE forces headquarters have decided to transfer of the operations room to outside Belhaf military base, which was rejected by al-Azami.

The UAE forces considered the step is military rebellion in Shabwa, while military observers considered that it is an overt military coup on the occupation forces  in Yemen south.
