President Al-Mashat praises scholars’ role in confronting coalition aggression

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Saturday praised the scholars’ role in confronting the brutal US-Saudi coalition aggression on Yemen and fortifying the home front that the coalition sought to hit through multiple paths.

This came during his meeting today with the Mufti of Yemen, scholar Shams Al-Din Sharaf Al-Din, Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, and members of the Presidium of the Yemeni Scholars Association.

In the meeting, President Al-Mashat stressed the need to pay attention to the good selection of judges and to rehabilitate them scientifically so that they can achieve justice, as “a sacred goal.”

President Al-Mashat urged the completion of the backlogged cases in the Grievance Redress Board as a result of past accumulations before the September 21 revolution.

Many important issues related to people’s lives and conditions, and how to improve government performance to provide services to them were discussed in the meeting.
