Commander of 9th Sa’iqa Brigade escapes assassination attempt in Lahj

LAHJ, Aug. 27 (YPA) – A commander of Ninth Sa’iqa Brigade” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition survived on Saturday an assassination attempt in Lahj province, south of Yemen.

Local sources in the province said that an explosive device exploded in a military vehicle belonging to the convoy of Brigadier General “Farouk Al-Kaloul”, the commander of ninth Ta’i’ Brigade” while it was near “Al-Fayoush” market.

The sources confirmed that the explosion did not result in casualties.
