MAHRA, Jul. 20 (YPA) – Saudi occupation forces on Wednesday confiscated dozens of fishing boats in the occupied Mahra province, eastern Yemen.
According to local sources, Saudi forces launched a new campaign against fishermen on the coasts of al-Ghaydah, the provincial capital.
They confiscated more than 20 fishing boats for citizens in the city, the sources said.
Moreover, Saudi forces prevented fishermen from fishing on the city’s coasts.
The incident comes in the framework of the systematic campaign led by Saudi-led coalition forces against Yemeni fishermen for years and a clear step to deprive the country of its maritime wealth and exploit it for its own benefit.
