SAADA, Jul. 13 (YPA) – Saudi forces committed a new crime against Yemeni civilians in Saada province, northern Yemen.
Local sources told the Yemen Press Agency, the Saudi forces bombed a gathering of the people of the village of Bani Moeen on the third day of Eid al-Adha (Tuesday), with artillery shells, which resulted in the death and injury of many civilians.
The sources explained some of the wounded are in critical condition.
The crime comes nearly three days after Saudi forces committed a similar crime against Yemeni civilians in the village of Barkan in Razih district, which resulted in the death of one civilian and injury of 16 others.
The shelling of populated Yemeni villages by the Saudi army is a serious violation of the UN-brokered truce declared in Yemen since April 1.
