Gaza death toll from Israeli genocidal war rises to 73,922

GAZA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli ongoing genocide on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023 has risen to 73,922, with 174,995 Palestinians wounded, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

In its daily report, the ministry said Wednesday that hospitals in Gaza received the bodies of three Palestinians and 18 wounded people over the past 24 hours.

Since the ceasefire took effect, 1,402 Palestinians have been killed and 4,881 wounded, while the bodies of 834 people have been recovered, the ministry said.

It added that other victims remain under rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
