Russia: 3 killed, 4 injured in Belgorod

MOSCOW, Jul.03 (YPA) – At least three individuals killed  and four persons were injured following explosions  in the Russian city of Belgorod near the Ukraine border,  said Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov .

Dozens apartment buildings and  private houses were damaged, including five that were destroyed, he added.

earlier the a series of powerful explosions had been heard in the provincial capital, Gladkov said, adding added that presumably, the air defense system worked.

He noted that the incident was being investigated.
