Resistance fighters target Hawara checkpoint in Nablus

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jun.09 (YPA) – Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire Wednesday night at the Hawara checkpoint in Nablus, while clashes broke out between youths and Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem.

 

According to Palestinian sources, resistance fighters opened fire at the occupation forces stationed at the Hawara checkpoint south of Nablus. The area witnessed a security alert following  the operation.

 

Clashes broke out with the occupation forces in the town of Husan nine kilometers (5.5 miles) west of Bethlehem, during which Palestinians  threw stones and empty bottles at the Zionist soldiers.

 

The sources said that the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at the homes of citizens, resulting in suffocation injuries.
