Civilian shot dead by gunmen in Abyan

ABYAN, Jun. 06 (YPA) – A citizen was killed Monday by an unidentified gunman in the city of Ja’ar in Abyan province, in southern Yemen.

Local sources in the city stated that the gunman shot dead the citizen, Anis Shujaina, in the center of Ja’ar, without mentioning the reasons behind the crime.

Abyan districts have been witnessing a security chaos, amid the efforts of the Abyan axis affiliated with Islah Party to control the city of Ja’ar after their control of the center of Ahwar city during the past two weeks.
