SANAA, June. 06 (YPA) – A delegation of the first national football team left on Monday the capital Sanaa heading to Mongolia, to participate in the 2023 Asian Cup qualification, which are scheduled to start on Wednesday.
The national team, led by Algerian coach Adel Amrouche, came in the second group, which includes alongside it the teams of Palestine, the Philippines, and the host country Mongolia.
The team will start his journey towards qualifying for the 2023 Asian Cup finals by facing the Philippines on Wednesday, and its Palestinian brother on Saturday, June 11, before concluding its journey with Mongolia on Tuesday, June 14.
24 teams will participate in the AFC Asian Cup qualification, divided into six groups.
