Coalition violates UN-brokered humanitarian armistice in Yemen 151 times

SANAA, June. 02 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces and its tools have continue to violate the UN-sponsored humanitarian and military truce, recording 151 times.

A military source said in a news statement that the coalition’s violations were represented by 57 breaches of armed reconnaissance and spy flights over the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, Bayda, and the border fronts.

The source affirmed that the coaliton forcs carried out 4 violations, of which creation of fortifications in Hamdan axis in Saada and other fortifications around the city of Marib.

He indicated that an air strike launched by armed reconnaissance aircraft of the coalition aircraft on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular forces in al-Matma district of Jawf governorate.

The source indicated that 89 breaches were monitored by intensive shooting and artillery at citizens’ homes and army positions in the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Marib, Dhalea and on the border fronts.

The military source stated that the forces of the coalition fired artillery at the sites of the army and popular forces in Wadi Jara and Jabal Qambora in Jizan, and Jabal Al-Amda and Shabakah in Najran.
