GAZA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – At least 24 Palestinian citizens have been killed and many others injured since dawn on Tuesday in Israeli warplanes bombing various parts of the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, one civilian was killed in an Israeli drone strike west of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
A child was killed and several others were injured when Apache helicopters targeted a house belonging to the Zaqout family on Al-Saftawi Street, northwest of Gaza
Sources also reported the death of a Palestinian man and injuries to others when Israeli forces hit a residential apartment in the Al-Sabra neighborhood and Al-Ghafri Junction in Gaza City.
Seven Palestinians were also killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed two houses in the same area. Five people are still missing under the rubble.
Meanwhile, in the northern Gaza area of Khan Younis, five Palestinians were killed when an Israeli airstrike destroyed a tent sheltering a family in the al-Qarara area.
In a series of operations, the Israeli military carried out four explosive demolitions in the southern outskirts of Gaza City.
In the central Gaza Strip, a man and his wife were killed while several others were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a makeshift shelter for displaced people from the al-Daya family in the al-Sawariyah area, near the al-Nuseirat refugee camp.
Medical sources reported that one person was killed, others were injured, and others, including children, are still missing under the rubble.
This occurred after the occupation bombed a home belonging to the Abu Zubaydah family in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. A citizen was also shot dead in the Netzarim axis.
Additionally, two women were killed, and others were injured when the occupation bombed a warehouse housing displaced persons on Akila Street in Deir al-Balah.
