142 violations of UN-declared truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, May 25 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 142 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Wednesday, citing a military source.

The source declared that the violations included eight raids of reconnaissance planes hit citizens’ homes and the army’s sites in Al-Fakhir and Bab Ghalq areas of Dhalea province.

According to the military source, 47 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz,Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Amran, Mahweet, Dhalea and border fronts.

The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created in Hairan, Al-Taina and Al-Mazraq areas of Hajjah.

The source pointed out that 17 violations by an artillery bombing targeted the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Malaa areas of Marib, Haradh, Bani Hassan areas of Hajjah, Al-Malheedh, Munabeh, Razih and Al-Madafin areas of Saada.

He also said that artillery shelling hit the army’s sites in Al-Amood, Jabal Twilq and Al-Kanb areas of Jizan region and Al-Sakhra area of Asir border province.

In addition, the source declared that 51 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada,Bayda, Dhalea and border fronts.
