Shura Council condemns coalition’s violations of armistice

SANAA, May 25 (YPA) – The Shura Council, in its meeting on Wednesday chaired by the Speaker of the Council Mohammed Al-Aidarous, condemned the continued violations of the UN-declared armistice by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition.

The Council denounced the coalition’s deliberate launch of its spy planes over the densely populated capital of Sanaa, the downing of which led to civilian casualties and material damage to citizens’ property.

The Council praised the high capabilities of the air defenses, which were able to deal with the spy planes of the Saudi Air Force, stressing the importance of raising vigilance against the coalition’s plans aimed at thwarting the UN armistice.

The Shura Council held the United Nations and the international community legally and criminally responsible for their shameful silence towards the crimes of the coalition, demanding them to condemn those violations.
