UAE planes cause terror among people of Socotra

SOCOTRA, May 25 (YPA) – UAE helicopters flew heavily on Wednesday over the populated villages in the Socotra archipelago province.

The island’s residents complained that Emirati helicopters flew at a very low altitude from the citizens’ homes, causing terror among women, children, and livestock.

The people considered that what the Emirati planes were doing was a flagrant violation of their privacy, without revealing the reasons for the flight, according to “Al-Mahariya” TV channel.

The people of Socotra demanded the representative of the UAE occupation on the island to stop these practices that the island has not known before, which threaten security and social peace, stressing that “the continuation of these violations will prompt the people of the island to respond.”
